We were founded in 2009, by Peter Hughes, and we still have one founder member!! We sing in 4 part harmony with no instrumental accompaniment. We are based in Telford, Shropshire, and enjoy singing at private and public events in the area. We had a different colour logo then, but we have always loved the purple and pink way of life.


 

Our musical Director is Monica Funnell. Monica brings a wealth of experience from her involvement in the Ladies' British Barbershop Association.  As an accomplished quartet singer, Monica is also a registered judge within LABBS Education and Judging programme and directs the Crystal Chords Ladies' Barbershop Chorus, based in Stockport.  Her motivating, good-humoured style really makes learning fun!

Prospective members are welcome to come along to one of our rehearsal nights, to join in and find out more about our friendly and fun Barbershop style of singing. We provide Audio 'Teach Tracks' as well as the printed music, so the ability to sight read music is not necessary, (although being able to follow the notes is a useful skill, as we develop the music).
